Event Details

Join us for a night of intrigue and suspense at the Bloomsburg Public Library!

Join us as we unravel a decades-old secret hidden within our library walls. Our second chapter of Murder in the Library will feature a thrilling mystery experience inspired by the (fictional) discovery of a (real) long-lost founder’s will. Sarah Van Tassel founded the Bloomsburg Public Library, and helped open the doors of our current library building in 1926.

Choose your adventure:

  • Friday and Saturday, March 21st and 22nd from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and Sunday afternoon, March 23rd from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM:
Become a sleuth as you scour the library for hidden clues in an interactive search-and-solve experience.
  • Saturday, March 29th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Sunday, March 30th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM:
Sit back and enjoy the intrigue from your seats in a performance setting.

Each event is a complete experience with a different ending – you do not need to attend more than one unless you want to! Both weekends will feature plenty of sleuthing, food, and drink.

This fundraiser will support the partnership between the Bloomsburg Public Library, the Columbia County Traveling Library, and the Orangeville Public Library. Come out and make fun memories with friends old and new while supporting the community, programs, and collections of our Columbia County libraries.
