Program Description
Event Details
Children and their adults are invited enjoy a variety of books and songs that embrace uniqueness, community, and belonging. We will explore big ideas like kindness, identity, and inclusion. Interactive questions and open-ended conversations are welcome. We want to celebrate what makes us unique and what connects us as a community.
We invite everyone to stay afterwards to play and chat with us about the stories and how they relate to our families and community. Children’s literature is a wonderful tool to support conversations with our kids, reflect on our own experiences and attitudes around difference, and learn some tips to help young children positively interact with our diverse community.
Seats are limited.
