 le to host second event.Kate Price grew up in the Town of Bloomsburg in ce
 ntral Pennsylvania with her sister and parents. At the insistence of her m
 other, and through her academic accomplishments, Price escaped the unbroke
 n cycles of poverty, violence, addiction, mental illness, and abuse that h
 ad plagued her family for generations. She started a new life in Massachus
 etts, in pursuit of her master’s and Ph.D. But despite having left this 
 dark world behind, it still kept a firm grip on her.Kate Price is an assoc
 iate research scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women, a research ins
 titute at Wellesley College. She is also an advisor for the National Cente
 r for Missing and Exploited Children, and an alumni scholar at the Brandei
 s University Women’s Studies Research Center. An internationally recogni
 zed expert and lecturer, Price researches the commercial sexual exploitati
 on of children (CSEC), particularly domestic child sex trafficking and chi
 ld sexual abuse material (CSAM). She earned her Ph.D. in sociology at the 
 University of Massachusetts Boston.Kate&#039;s conversation partner, Jenn 
 Kosakevitch, is the consultant for the NEPA Task Force Against Human Traff
 icking. Kosakevitch holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from K
 ing’s College, with a minor in Sociology. She is a graduate of the Penns
 ylvania State Police Academy and served as a Trooper for 25 years before r
 etiring in 2021. During that time, she was the Eastern Human Trafficking C
 oordinator for the Pennsylvania State Police and a Task Force Officer with
  the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations spe
 cializing in Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Investigations.Join
