BTE's TIC Tour Performance: Discovering Frederick Douglass

Using song, energetic physical storytelling, and audience participation, this play explores the life of the great American abolitionist, Frederick Douglass, through the journey as an enslaved person to becoming a trailblazer during the 19th century Civil Rights Movement as a skilled orator and writer. Discover the trials and successes of a true leader through his poignant words and brave actions.
